I discovered how Cel shading works. (I think). This version is a very low frame rate test of directional lighting by swapping out multiple Sphere Maps.
Character is Leeward Caine. Part of the Crimson Theory project -- an adventure game spanning multiple worlds. If you're interested, stick around.
Since when the hell was GIF format banned from 3D category? What the hell? I've submitted GIFs there before.
I'm just trying to imagine the kind of incident that would have got gifs banned from the 3D category... all just one guy posting huge gifs of a sphere floating over a checkerboard... all dithered as hell etc
Crimson Theory project looks promising. You got yourself a watcher
Thanks. I've been working on the Crimson project for a while now. A lot of the work done on it isn't really "visual" art in a traditional sense. And the rest is kind of a secret.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
